Smudged henna? That’s a paddlin’

Some homo-sapiens (homies?) and I ventured down to the River Goyt to paddle our hearts away. Paddle boarding has been around for thousands of years. Ancient cultures from Africa to South America used boards with long sticks to fish, travel, ride waves, make war, and to (maybe) provide entertainment for onlooking henna artists. We did honour our ancestors by completing at least one of those tasks, I will leave the facts to your imagination…
